About IPMAT Rohtak
IPMAT Rohtak Exam Pattern, Eligibility and Selection Process
IIM Rohtak’s test differs from IPMAT Indore. In 2026 it had three sections — quantitative ability, logical reasoning and verbal ability — with 40 multiple-choice questions each, 120 questions in 120 minutes, and negative marking for wrong answers. Speed and accuracy matter as much as concepts.
Board marks count here. In the 2026 merit list, the aptitude test carried 55%, the personal interview 15%, Class X marks 10% and Class XII marks 20%.
For 2026, candidates needed at least 60% in Class X and XII (55% for SC, ST and DAP candidates) and had to be at most 20 years old on 30 June 2026 (25 for SC/ST). Patterns, eligibility and dates change every year, so always confirm details in the official admissions notice before you apply.
